Aid for Poets

I just read the following in
one of those lists of odd facts:
>> No word in the English language
>> rhymes with month, orange,
>>silver or purple

I'm inventing a word -
a word that is "urple".
It's what happens
when you try not to sneeze
and your face turns purple.

I'm inventing a word -
a word that is "crunth".
It's what happens when
you don't pay your bills
at the end of the month
and you can't say 'crunch'.

I feel quite unable
to rhyme with 'silver'
unless we define "tilver"
as what cats do
to worry you -
staring at the back of your head
while you try to read in bed.
It's a telepathy thing
and it makes your ears ring.

But I'm not inventing a word
to rhyme with orange.
I'm just declaring it's pronounced
to rhyme with range.
And if you don't agree,
don't bother telling me
'cause you're not a good sport
even though you certainly oughrt
to be.
